Child/Teen Counseling

Counseling for children, adolescents, and teens can be a greatly beneficial process.  When working with children and teens, I place great value on the relationship between myself and the client.  Whether we are working on a specific behavioral issue, peer relationships, self-esteem, or managing academic pressures, I believe that it is greatly beneficial for the child to feel a sense of safety and support.  My goal as a therapist is to provide a place where they are the focus and can explore their feelings without feeling judged or pressured.  I work collaboratively with physicians, teachers, counselors, and parents to build the most supportive environment for the client.
